Floyd Edward Hobby age 84 of Belfast, died Monday, September 18, 2017 in Marshall Medical Center.

Mr. Hobby was a native of Marshall County, Tennessee born on September 8, 1933 to the late Odell and Sarah Cozart Hobby.  He coached the Mustangs Youth Football team for thirty-six years, was retired from International Comfort Products, and was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Danny Hobby, two brothers, Billy Hobby and Jimmy Hobby, and great granddaughter, Katelyn Hightower.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-three years  Elizabeth Keel Hobby of Belfast, three daughters, Debbie (Tim) Shelton of Lewisburg, Tina (Phil) Rodgers of Lewisburg, and Leona Hubrich of Lewisburg, three brothers, Cordell Hobby of Verona, Charles Hobby of Belfast, and Odell Hobby of Orlando, Florida, six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren, also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted by Bro. Arthur Payne Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.

The family will be at London Funeral Home Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour for visitation.

London Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
