Mrs. Marie Bivins Crumley, age 93, of Lewisburg, died Friday, February 22, 2013 at NHC Lewisburg.
Mrs. Crumley was a native of Giles County, the daughter of the late Floyd Oscar and Hattie Cooper Bivins. She was a homemaker and member of the Church St. Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Buford Crumley in 1994.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Joy Ringe, four brothers, Herman Smith, Frank Smith, Gardner "Buck" Bivins, and James Bivins, and two sisters, Annie Johnson and Grace Hayes. She is survived by one daughter, Faye (Tommy) Jordan of Lewisburg, and three granddaughters, Terri Darnell of Lewisburg, Shea Jordan of Nashville, and Darla Robison of Cornersville. Ten great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 4:00 pm from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will begin on Saturday evening from 4:00 until 8:00 pm and will continue on Sunday until the funeral hour.
London Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Bobby and I want to send our Prayers and Deepest Sympathy on the loss of
your Mother and Grandmother. She was one of the nicest, sweetest Christian
Ladies I have ever known. I knew her through my wonderful friend, Her Daughter, Joy. I could always mention Divinity Candy to Joy and the next day
she would bring me some that her Mother had made for me. I will keep you in
my prayers during this sad time in your life. If you need me just give me a call.

My heart goes out to you on the loss of your mother. She was a wonderful, christian lady and will be missed by many. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

To the family of Marie, my prayers and thoughts are with each of you. I can just see her now eating her pickles when I visited her at the nursing home. She was truly a special lady. May God bless you all.

Terri- we are so sorry to hear about the passing of 'Granny'. So happy that we had the opportunity to have been able to be in the presence of such a wonderful lady with that beautiful smile!!! When I came to visit and was having a bad day, that changed when I seen 'Granny' and she waved and greeted everyone with that smile that lit up the room!!! She will definitely be missed! Praying for you all!
