Obituary for Ruby Dean Higdon (Chunn)
Ruby Dean Higdon, age 91 of Lewisburg died Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at NHC Lewisburg.
Mrs. Higdon was a native of Marshall County, and she was the daughter of the late Charlie Boyd and Sammie Louise Hyde Chunn. She was retired from Lemar Shirt Factory in Pulaski, TN and was a member of the Church Street Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, A.E. McMillin and second husband, Huston "Friday" Higdon, sister, Johnnie Belle Curtis and brother, Joe Wallace Chunn. She is survived by three sons, Terry McMillin of Lewisburg, David McMillin and Fred McMillin both of Nashville, two stepdaughters, Betty Brown of Shelbyville and Janice Strohm of Mississippi. Four grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home with burial to follow in Beechwood cemetery.
The family will be at the funeral home for visitation on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday until the funeral hour.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 201 West Lincoln St. Tullahoma, TN 37388
