Obituary for Alice Coble Holbert (Coble)
Alice Coble Holbert, age 61, of Cornersville, died Monday, August 12th, 2019 at St. Thomas West.
She was a native of Hickman County, the daughter of the late Hartie Lee Coble and Georgia Garner Coble. She was a Educator, Psychologist, and Guidance Counselor for the Maury County School System and a member of the Cornersville Church of Christ. She was also a member of the Maury County, Tennessee, and National Education Associations, and the Tennessee Retired Teachers Association.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Francis Harris, and a brother, Hartie Lee Coble Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny Holbert, two daughters, Stephanie Holbert of Cornersville, and Tabitha Childress of Lewisburg, sisters, Ginger England of Dickson, Dot Titsworth of Smithville, and nieces, Shannan Bain of Lebanon, and Kirsten Wittingham of Connecticut.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, August 18th, 2019 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of London Funeral Home 324 West Church Street Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091 with burial to follow in Beechwood Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will begin on Saturday, August 17th, 2019 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and will continue on Sunday, August 18th, 2019 until the funeral hour.
