Obituary for Betty Jewel Carter (Pamplin)

Betty Jewel Carter, age 83, of Lewisburg, died Thursday, July 11th, 2019 at NHC Oakwood.

Mrs. Carter was a native of Portland, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Voyde Vincent and Sarah Spurlock Pamplin. She was an owner of NBC Moulding Co. and was a member of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Norwood Carter Sr., two sisters, Mildred Mills and Cleora Hosch, four brothers, Fred Pamplin, Alford Pamplin, Edward Pamplin, Voyde Pamplin, a grandson, Barry Wayne Carter, and a son-in-law, Harold Crick.
She is survived by a daughter, Sheila Crick of Lewisburg, a son, Norwood Jr. "Butch" Carter, two sisters, Marie Zulpo and Frankie McKenzie, both of Arkansas, and a grandson, Justin Carter.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, July 14th, 2019 at 4:00 pm from the chapel of London Funeral Home and Crematory with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin on Sunday, July 14th, 2019 from 2:00 pm until the funeral hour.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital or the charity of your choice.

London Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
