Obituary for Billy Deece Haislip
Billy Deece Haislip, age 90, died Wednesday, February 10th, 2021 at his residence in Cornersville, TN.
He was a native of Marshall County, born at home to the late Burdie Austin and Lessie Lee Burgett Haislip. He was a member of the Church Street Church of Christ and was a self-employed entrepreneur selling trailers, cars, and tractors.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of seventy years, Jo Ellen Spivy Haislip in 2020, his daughter, Connie Fay Jones in 2021, sister, Mary Eudora Warren, brother Kenneth Loyd Haislip, two step-brothers, Clayton Franklin and Burdie Marshall Haislip.
He is survived by his daughter, Nina Haislip (Jesse) Bunch of Fayetteville, a double first cousin, Dwayne Haislip, Lewisburg, several nieces and nephews, two grandchildren, four step grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and fourteen step great grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, February 24, 2021 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm . The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm and burial to follow at Medium Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Church Street Church of Christ or St. Jude's Children Hospital.
