Donald Ray Thompson, age 64, of Shelbyville, died Tuesday, December 31st, 2019 at Tennova Healthcare in Shelbyville,Tennessee.

He was a native of Giles County, the son of the late Jesse Cox and Mary Thompson. He was a veteran of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and was employed at Americold Logistics for twenty-three years. Mr. Thompson was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Daniel Summer,
He is survived by wife of twenty years- Sherri Thompson, Shelbyville, Tn.

Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday, January 4th, 2020 at 12:00 pm from the Chapel of London Funeral Home 324 West Church Street Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091 with burial to follow in Cochran Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin on Friday, January 3rd, 2020 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and will continue on Saturday, January 4th, 2020 until the funeral hour.
