Obituary for Dorothy Dale Edwards (Sylvester)
Dorothy Dale Sylvester Edwards, age 71, of Lewisburg, died Saturday, September 10th, 2022 at Alive Hospice in Nashville.
She was a native of Huntsville, Alabama, the daughter of the late Marvin Curtis and Katherine White Sylvester. She retired as the owner of Mrs. Dottie's Daycare and was a member of The Tabernacle.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Wayne Edwards in February 2022, one son, Wayne Edwards, and four brothers, Jack Sylvester, Buddy Sylvester, James Sylvester, and Gary Sylvester.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Edwards (Holly Pearson) of Nashville, daughter in law, Karen Edwards of Belfast, two sisters, Sherry Jolene Holman of Hazel Green, AL and Juanita Baldwin of Hartselle, AL, two brothers, Tommy Sylvester of Elkton, AL, and Donald Sylvester of Gurley, AL, grandsons, Rev. Brandon (Bekah) Edwards of KY, Nathaniel Calahan of Belfast, granddaughter, Jenna Edwards, Karlie Edwards, both of Belfast, and great grandchildren Aliz, Laura,Jose,Ian,Lluvia,Dara and Brisa.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, September 16th, 2022 at 2:00 pm from The Tabernacle, 591 Fox Lane, Lewisburg, Tennessee with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will begin on Friday at the church beginning at 11:00 am and will continue until the funeral hour.
