Obituary for Dorothy Evelyn Hastings
Dorothy Evelyn Crabtree Hastings, age 91, of Petersburg, died Wednesday, July 10th, 2019 at her residence.
Mrs. Hastings was a native of Marshall County, the daughter of the late Charlie and Etta Ervin Crabtree. She was a Beautician and a member of the Cane Creek Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Virginia Sullivan, Myra Hastings, Robbie Sowell, a brother, Thomas Crabtree, and a great grandson, Matthew Cody Rice.
She is survived by her husband of 75 years, Alf Hastings, daughter, Peggy Jean Sharpe of Cookeville, grandchildren, Pamela Sharp of Lynnville, Kim Rice of Lewisburg, and Jeff (Stacey) Sharpe of Lewisburg, great grandchildren, Hillary (Will) Erwin of Alabama, Kacey Rice of Lewisburg, Koley (Michael) Borah, Kristin (Evan) Watson, Curt Taylor and Ben Taylor, and great great grandchildren, Lola Wainwright, Ryder Watson, and Atlee Borah, all of Cornersville.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, July 14th, 2019 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of London Funeral Home and Crematory with burial to follow in Old Orchard Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will begin on Sunday, July 14th, 2019 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour.
