Obituary for Eddie Dee Capps
Eddie Dee Capps, age 80, of Lewisburg, died Monday, June 6th, 2022 at his residence.
He was a native of Livonia, Missouri, the son of the late Glen Davis and Alice Berneta Hawkins Capps. He was an Auto Parts Delivery Driver for Turner Salvage and was a member of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. He loved Cubs baseball, had a great sense of humor and told stories of his childhood growing up dirt poor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Barbara Collis and Dorothy Brewington.
He is survived by two daughters, Brenda Mae (Richard) Grimes, and Patricia Kay (Andy) Miller, both of Lewisburg, one step-daughter, Dorothy Eileen Watts of Nashville, four sisters, Kay Gregory, Sylvia Wilson, Peggy McLaughlin, and Bernita Loughead, all of Macon, Missouri, four brothers, Larry Capps of Macon, MO, Kenneth Capps of Illinois, Marvin Capps and Norman Capps, both of Davenport, Iowa.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, June 13th, 2022 at 9:30 am from the Chapel of London Funeral Home 324 West Church Street Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091 with burial to follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will begin on Sunday, June 12th, 2022 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm and will continue on Monday, June 13th, 2022 until the funeral hour.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
London Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
