Obituary for Elizabeth Stegall Collins (Stegall)
Mrs. Elizabeth Stegall Collins, age 89 of Lewisburg, died Friday, March 27, 2020 at her residence.
Mrs. Collins was a native of Marshall County, the daughter of the late Edgar and Sammie Hardison Stegall. She was a homemaker and dairy farmer and was a member of the Lewisburg First Baptist Church. She was a member of the Womens’ Farm Bureau and proponent of the “Ag in the Classroom” program.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tilden Collins, and a brother, Doug Stegall.
She is survived by one daughter, Jenny (Mike) Conder of Lewisburg, one son, Mike (Faye) Collins of Lewisburg, two brothers, Eddie Stegall of Franklin, Tommy Stegall of Columbia, three grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Due to social safety guidelines, there will be a private family graveside on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Lone Oak Cemetery at 2:00 pm with burial to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude’s Childrens Hopital, Monroe Carroll Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, or the “Ag in the classroom” program through Farm Bureau.
