Obituary for Marie Holley Hooten

Marie Holley Hooten, age 91, of Lewisburg, died Monday, February 15th, 2021 at NHC Oakwood.

She was a native of Giles County, the daughter of the late Horace and Thelma Clark Holley. She was a retired Customer Service Representative and was a member of the Hickory Heights Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James P. Hooten, one son, Clark Hooten, sisters, Annie Ruth Allred, and Donna Purdue, and a brother, Robert Holley.
She is survived by son, Randy (Mimi) Hooten of Franklin, daughter, Diane Hooten (Roger) Barnes of Lewisburg, son, Troy (Andrea) Hooten, sisters, Becky Adcox, Jean Brown, and Linda McClain, and brothers, Larry Holley and Dennis Holley. Grandchildren, Chase (Renee) Hooten, Alex Hooten, Brent Hooten, Baillie Hooten, Parker Hooten, Robin (Brent) Johns, and Holly Barnes, and great grandchildren, Thomas Johns, Neely Johns, Logan Johns, Eli Cook, Stella Cook, and Kimberly Hooten also survive.

Graveside Services will be conducted on Sunday, February 21st, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Lone Oak Cemetery Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091 with burial to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Hickory Heights Church of Christ or to the Marshall County Memorial Library in memory of Marie Hooten.

London Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
