Obituary for Frankie D. Dalton Sr.
Frankie D. Dalton, Sr. age 85, of Lewisburg, died Friday, May 1st, 2020 at his residence.
He was a native of Marshall County, the son of the late Marvin Dalton and Sarah Blackwell Dalton. He was a self-employed tractor mechanic and was a member of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years in 2014, Christine Mealer Dalton, daughter, Melissa Hunter, sisters, Caroline Rogers, and Helen Dalton, and brothers, Melvin Dalton and Vincent Dalton.
He is survived by a daughter, Christy (Doug) Sharp, son, Frankie Dalton Jr. (Tonga), sister, Ann Roberts, brothers, Fred Dalton and Wayne Dalton and five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and special friends, Claude Holt, Randy Gambill and Billy Harwell.
Private family graveside services will be conducted on Monday, May 4th, 2020 at 11:00 am at Cochran Cemetery with burial to follow.
