Frankie Joel Moore, affectionately known as “Seldom Seen”
Frankie was born October 17, 1963, in Marshall County, TN to Katie Barnett Moore and
William Moore. He transitioned from his earthly home to his eternal home
on September 2, 2022.
Frankie gave his life to Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of
Greater First Baptist Church where he served as a member of the Men’s
Choir.
Frankie graduated from Marshall County High School, Class of 1982 where
he played basketball, baseball, and football. He attended Martin Methodist
College in Pulaski, TN. Frankie was an avid sports fan and dedicated
unlimited time to coaching, refereeing, and mentoring young adults and
youth in the community.
Frankie was employed by Nissan North America for 28 years before
retiring. At his passing, he was employed at Minth in Lewisburg, TN.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, William and Katie Moore, and
brother, Jessie Moore.
Frankie leaves behind to cherish his loving memories a devoted wife of
nearly 16 years, Michelle Burns Moore, his daughters, Destiny (Chris)
Jones, and Jamècia Reed, grandchildren, Neya’mia, Ailani, and Ni’ella, his
sister, Katrina Ann (Cedric) Moore, brother, Ricky (Jerri) Moore, and sister, Shirley
(Steve) Simmons all of Lewisburg, TN., Mother-in-law, Marsha Burns of
Nashville, TN, sister-in law’s, Alicia Burns Williams, Harvest, Al and
Crissonya (Glenn) Phillips, Nashville, TN. Additionally, Frankie loved his
family to include his nieces, nephews, cousins and had a host of friends
who loved him dearly.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. by Pastor Herbert Johnson at the Greater First Baptist Church with burial to follow in Egypt cemetery in Chapel Hill.
The family will be at the Greater First Baptist Church for visitation on Sunday, September 11, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
London Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
