Obituary for Geraldine Dodson (Dalton)
Geraldine Dalton Dodson, of Lewisburg, died Sunday, October 11th, 2020 at her residence.
She was a native of Marshall County, the daughter of the late Ennis McKinley and Wilmarie Fuller Dalton. She was the owner/operator of Family Hair Care for many many years. She was a member of the Belfast Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Dodson, son Brian Dodson, three sisters, Earleen Young, Mamie Scalf, Pauline Baskett, and three brothers, Alvie Dalton, Clancey Burk, and Kenneth Burk.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Dodson, Lewisburg, Jeff (Kim) Dodson, Tullahoma, two sisters, Jerlene Smithson, Lewisburg, Edith Ackley, Lewisburg, two brothers, Robert Dalton, Lawrenceburg, Glenn Burk, Sheppard, Texas, one granddaughter, Jacqueline Painter, one great-grandson, Pearson Painter, along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, October 14th, 2020 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091 officiated by Sonny Willis. Burial will follow in Bryant Cemetery in the Mooresville Community.
Visitation with the family will begin on Tuesday, October 13th, 2020 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and will continue on Wednesday, October 14th, 2020 until the funeral hour.
