Obituary for Harold Eugene Smith
Harold Eugene Smith, age 85, of Cornersville, died Sunday, April 19th, 2020 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, TN.
He was a native of Bland City, VA, the son of the late George Smith and Emma Sluder Smith. He was a Retired from Maintenance with the Marshall County School System and a member of the Lifesong Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Smith and two grandsons, Nicholas Boatright and Ira Tate.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Kathryn Smith, two daughters, Patty (Paul) Gatewood, Teresa (James) Mathis, one son, Richard (Liz) Smith, six grandchildren, Ryan Weirich, Daryl (Sally) Tate, Victoria (Chris) Jones, Maranda Martin, Blake (Kim) Martin, James Lee Mathis, thirteen great-grandchildren, Jenna Luttrell, Lee Ann Tate, Serenity Tate, Brylee Weirich, Josie Mae Tate, Grace Tate, Christina Mull, Kassitie Tate, Will Jones, Emma Jones, Joslyn Aunille, Adam Luttrell, Maggie Luttrell and one great-great-grandchild, Scarlett Luttrell.
Private Graveside Service will be conducted on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2020 at 1:00 pm from Beechwood Cemetery with burial to follow. Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic notes of condolences may be sent to the family at www.londonfuneralhomes.com.
