James Tarlton (Jimmy) Williams, III, age 86, of Lewisburg, died Friday, October 16th, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his family.
He was a native of Marshall County, the son of the late James Williams and Mable Gullie Williams. He was in sales and delivery of Bunny Bread and a member of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.
Jimmy was known best as "The Bunny Bread Man". He made his rounds in Marshall County for thirty-one years, where he would cut-up with everyone he met. Delivering the bread was just a formality, for his true passion was people. He liked to call himself a "first class nut" up until his very last days. Always the class clown, and loved to make others laugh. He loved his family with his whole heart. He worked many long hours, but would move mountains to make it to important events for his children. You would never catch one of his kids out on a baseball/softball/football field, without him cheering from the sidelines. He was always their biggest fan, and everyone in town heard all about it each week. He was a great man, with a big personality and will be missed by all who knew him.
Jimmy is survived by the love of his life, whom he had been married for 61 years, Shirrell Williams, son, Jimmy (Mary Beth) Williams, daughter, Torrie (Tony) Mowell, two grandchildren, JT Williams and Allie Mowell along with a cousin, Beth Harwell.
Due to the Covid pandemic and in an effort to keep friends and loved ones safe, the funeral service will be for family only.
London Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with their arrangements.
