Obituary for Jessie Purdom ""Penny"" Gipson
Jessie Purdom "Penny" Gipson, age 93, formerly of Cornersville, died Sunday, June 19th, 2022 at NHC Murfreesboro.
She was a native of Marshall County, the daughter of the late Jessie Herman and Eula Dockery Purdom. She was a telephone operator and homemaker and a member of the Westvue Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Gipson and brother, Jimmy Purdom.
She is survived by one daughter, Teresa (Wayne) Liggett of Murfreesboro, granddaughter, Brandi (Tye) Hargrove of Murfreesboro, two great grandchildren, two half brothers, and two half sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, June 22nd, 2022 at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of London Funeral Home 324 West Church Street Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091 with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will begin on Wednesday, June 22nd, 2022 from 11:00 am until the funeral hour.
London Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
