Obituary for Jimmy Chester Calahan

Jimmy Chester Calahan, age 74, of Lewisburg, died Wednesday, December 9th, 2020 at his residence.

He was a native of Marshall County, the son of the late Marvin Brown and Lillie Harwell Calahan. He was self-employed and was a member of the Lakeview Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Olene Whitehead Calahan, brothers, James R. Callahan, Marvin Callahan Jr., and Joe Mack Callahan, and a sister, Margaret Haynes.
He is survived by three daughters, Tammy (Travis) Holder of Lewisburg, Sheila (Russ) Grygiel of Bell Buckle, Pamela Pauley of Lewisburg, one brother, Billy (Patricia) Callahan of Lewisburg, two sisters, Sandra Barcheers of Lewisburg, and Maxine Luna of Lewisburg, grandchildren, Kelsey (Caleb) Whaley, Matthew (Amber) Hobby, Brittany Pauley, Kirston (Bryce) Clinton, Josh Pauley, Jordan Grygiel, three great grandchildren, Makynslee and Bo Hobby and Benton Whaley.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, December 11th, 2020 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of London Funeral Home 324 West Church Street Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091 with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin on Friday, December 11th, 2020 at 12:00 noon and will continue until the funeral hour.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Childrens' Hospital. The family requests that visitors wear masks and maintain social distance.

London Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
