Obituary for Julene Hay Smith (Haney)
Julene Hay Smith, age 91, of Unionville, formerly of Lewisburg, TN died Saturday, October 24th, 2020 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.
She was a native of Marshall, the daughter of the late Walter Haney and two mothers, Rosie Nix Haney and Eva Gore Haney. She was a retired employee of the Faber-Casteel Corp. and a member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Edwin Hay, second husband, Don Smith, son, Sammy Hay, brother, Jimmie Joe Sharp and sister, Fannie Vera Haney.
She is survived by her daughters, Janice H. (Allan) Guindon, Lake Alfred, FL, Sabrina (Bea) H. (Bubba) Parolini, Belfast, TN, sister, Mabel H. Chapman, Summiton, AL, step-daughters, Becky (Artie) Allen and Cheryl (Tony) Ewing both of Lewisburg, TN, five grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be conducted on Friday, October 30th, 2020 at 2:00 pm from Chapel of London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091 with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. Rick Rolin will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Johnathan Michael, Eric Michael, Nathan Staggs, Brett Gochee, Jimmy Langley, and David Hall. Honorary pallbearers will be Hayden Michael, Dawson Gochee, Garrett Gochee, Avery Michael, Chandler Michael, Chance Michael, Sloan Michael, Grey Michael, and Cash Michael.
Visitation with the family will begin on Friday, October 30th, 2020 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm in the Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
