Obituary for Julia Dean Woodward (Willis)

Mrs. Julia Dean Woodward, age 90, of Lewisburg, died Friday, April 10th, 2020 at NHC Maury.

She was a native of Marshall County, the daughter of the late Esmond and Julia Glenn Willis. She was a retired School Teacher and member of the Farmington Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Robert Edward Jr. "Ed" Woodward in 2009, one daughter, Julia Ann Woodward in 1956, and one son, Tommy Knox Woodward in 1960, sister, Mary Neil Vaughn, brothers, Glenn Willis and Billy Ewell Willis
She is survived by two sons, R.E. Woodward III of Lewisburg, and W.D. (Marzee) Woodward of Murfreesboro, two sisters, Knoxie Crocker and Margaret Wells, and three granddaughters, Stacie (Scott) Henderson, Elle, (Bryan) McCann, and Kristin (Trey) England.

Due to current safety guidelines, the family will have a private family graveside on Monday with burial to follow in Head Springs Cemetery. The family is tentatively planning a memorial service for October 10, 2020 at 10:00 am at Farmington Church of Christ.
