Obituary for LaQuita Mae Weaver (Wilkerson)

LaQuita Mae Weaver, age 87, of Lewisburg, died Tuesday, December 29th, 2020 at NHC Lewisburg

She was a native of Giles County, the daughter of the late Eugene Wilkerson and Louella Park Wilkerson. She was an employee of Mead Containers during her working career. LaQuita was a past worthy matron of the Lewisburg Chapter #318 Order of the Eastern Star, a member of the DAR Daughters of the American Revolution, and a member of the Church Street Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Weaver, sisters, Glenda Wilkerson Golden, Geneva Wilkerson, Katheryn Adcock, Dimple Wilson, Elawayne Fagan, Betty Jean Hastings, and brothers, Cecil Wilkerson and Billy Wilkerson.

She is survived by two daughters, Debbie (Wayne) Coward, Darlene (the late Danny) Harris, all of Lewisburg, one son, Bill (Alyce Jaynes) Weaver, Belfast, five grandchildren, Lori (Lee) Derryberry, Jon (Jenny) Coward, Ashley (Jeremy) Rodgers, Eric (Jackie) Weaver, Megan Harris, six great-grandchildren, Madison and Nathan Derryberry, Jackson Coward, John Parker Weaver, Blake Ruark, Molly Ann Rodgers, and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be conducted on Saturday, January 2nd, 2021 at 2:00 pm from Lone Oak Cemetery Lewisburg, Tennessee with Bill Tankersley officiating.

There will be no public visitation before the Graveside Service.

London Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
