Lockard Odell London, age 91, of Lewisburg, died Monday, March 22nd, 2021 at Huntsville Hospital.
He was born July 7, 1929 and a native of Marshall County, the son of the late Lockard Odell Sr. and Edrie Foster London. He was a Lewisburg City Policeman, and retired from Lewisburg Industries. He retired from the National Guard and was a member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-granddaughter, Hannah Hastings.
He is survived by his wife, Rachel Ann Hudson London, one daughter, Amy (Mickey) Byrd, sons, Jeffrey London of Lewisburg, and David (Kim) London of Lewisburg, step-daughter, Kathy (Jerry) Perry of Lewisburg, step-son, Mark (Jamie) Hastings of Cumming, Georgia, two grandsons, Esau Byrd, and Christopher (Julie) London, granddaughter, Ashley Singleton, step-grandchildren, Justin (Sara) Perry, and Seth Hastings, Jennifer (Oakey) Gaskill, Jaymond (Melaina) Perry, four great grandchildren, and two step-great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, March 26th, 2021 at 12:00 noon at Lone Oak Cemetery with burial to follow.
Visitation with the family will begin on Friday, March 26th, 2021 from 11:00 am until 11:45 am at London Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Youth Ministry at East Commerce Baptist Church or University of North Georgia/ Hannah Hastings Memorial Scholarship.
