Obituary for Roger Paul Fagan

Roger Paul Fagan, age 76, of Lewisburg, died Tuesday, August 4th, 2020 at his residence in Lewisburg.

He was a native of Marshall County, the son of the late Paul Waldrop and Billie Marie Marchand Fagan. He was a retired-Law Enforcement Officer and was an employee of London Funeral Home & Crematory at the time of his passing. He was a member of East Commerce Baptist Church and attended Grace Baptist Church of Lewisburg. Roger was a life long public servant. He served as an EMT for Marshall County Ambulance Service, a Marshall County Chief Deputy, Lewisburg Police Officer and a City Detective, Cornersville Chief of Police, and a Marshall County Commissioner. Roger possessed a true work ethic and compassion for his fellow man.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Bart Fagan, and a sister, Janice Fagan Willis.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Marie Odom Fagan, Lewisburg, one daughter, Lisa (Shane) Chapman, Chapel Hill, one brother, Randall (Janice) Fagan, Ohio, daughter-in-law, Jeanne Fagan, Lewisburg, brother-in-law, Phil Willis, Lewisburg, five grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many many dear friends.

Funeral Service will be conducted on Friday, August 7th, 2020 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091 with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. Tom Gabbard and Shane Chapman will be officiating. Pallbearers are Bob Logan, Sam Smith, Billy Spivey, Joe Moss, Greg Hardison, and Shane Chapman. Honorary pallbearers are Adam Perryman, Ray Green, Danny Mitchell, Dennis Orr, Kenneth Stacey, and Phil Willis.

Visitation with the family will begin on Thursday, August 6th, 2020 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and will continue on Friday, August 7th, 2020 from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.

London Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with their arrangements.
