Obituary for Ronald Wayne Edwards

Ronald Wayne Edwards, age 50, of Belfast, died Friday, July 17th, 2020 at Vanderbilt Medical Center after a long battle with multiple health issues.

He was a native of Huntsville, Alabama, the son of the Jerry and Dottie Edwards. Wayne leaves behind a great legacy. He was known to be kind, hard working, sincere, and as genuine as they come. Wayne was a follower of Jesus Christ and loved Jesus and the Nazarene Church of Lewisburg family. He was a member of the finance committee, building and grounds committee, Sunday School teacher, and usher. Wayne worked for many years repairing anything from air conditioning units to commercial restaurant equipment. He loved working with his hands and could fix almost anything.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Karen Calahan Edwards, whom he loved immensely, four children, Brandon (Bekah) Edwards, Jenna Edwards, Karlie Edwards, Nathaniel Calahan, his parents, Jerry and Dottie Edwards, a sister, Donna Edwards, in-laws, David and Fran Calahan, Kerry Calahan, Jason (Delancy) Calahan and seven special grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2020 at 2:00 pm from Chapel of London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091 with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2020 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm in the Chapel.

London Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with their arrangements.
