I was so sorry to hear of Tommy's passing. I knew Tommy years ago when I was with the Impact Center. Tommy was always a sweet, gentle man who was ready with a smile and a laugh. I don't thnik I ever saw Tommy get mad or have a harsh word for anyone. He set a really good example for all of us to live by. I am so sorry for your loss.

To the family, we are so very sorry for your loss. Tommy was such a sweet soul. He always remembered Gary and knew me and remembered me every time he saw me. We always enjoyed seeing and talking to him. What a smile! Heaven just gained an extra special Angel! You are all in our prayers...

I am so very sorry to hear of Tommy’s Passing! I am absolutely heartbroken to have gotten this news! He was sincerely one of the most humble, kind, loving, smiling, family loving man that I’ve ever met! I owned Sweetie Pies and I can’t count the times that the brothers and sisters would meet there and eat and they just became family and every Friday night! Mrs. Ebalene and Tommy would come in sometimes for lunch and I’d always slip Tommy a piece of pie and tell him to hide that or Carlos would have our fear ends!!! Tommy could remember dates, times and names and things from forever ago!! I always said, when the gates open in Heaven, Tommy will walk in with a huge smile and be welcomed by his Mom and Dad but now that most of his brothers and sisters have sadly left too, what a Christmas they’ll have!! It’s so sad this time of year for the family but Tommy loved God and if anyone is going to Heaven, TOMMY BURGETT IS THERE!!! My heart sure hurts but my soul smiles to know he’s now with his family and not in any pain or suffering! What a precious, sweet soul he was and fly high you precious Angel, FLY HIGH!! What a joy you were to have known in this life!! What joy you not only brought my heart but to sooooo many others!! It was an honor and a privilege to have known you and had the chance to break bread with you on this side!! Love always and many prayers for the family! Mrs. Ebalene will be standing there with that sweet smile waiting to see you!! What a bond they shared!!
