Obituary for Villa Louise Hobbs Poarch

Villa Louise Hobbs Poarch, age 75, of Lewisburg, died Friday, September 6th, 2019 at her residence.

She was a native of Lincoln County, the daughter of the late George and Flossie Stanford Hobbs. She was a former owner/operator of Lane Allen Store and the Lewisburg Food Locker and was a member of the Church of Christ. She always enjoyed her work and visiting with customers. Mrs. Poarch loved the Lord and always tried to set a good example for her children. She loved working in her yard, an especially loved taking her grandchildren for rides on the lawnmower. She couldn't wait for spring so that she could sit outside and watch the hummingbirds come and play.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ned Lee Poarch Sr., and numerous brothers and sisters.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Sue Poarch and Demetress Adcock, both of Lewisburg, two sons, Ned Lee Poarch Jr. of the Berlin Community, and Scottie Dwayne Poarch of Lewisburg, sister, Emma Jean McKin, brother, Carl Thomas Hobbs, both of Fayetteville, and nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, September 9th, 2019 at 10:00 am from the Chapel of London Funeral Home 324 West Church Street Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091 with burial to follow in New Hope Cemetery at Ostella.

Visitation with the family will begin on Sunday, September 8th, 2019 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and will continue on Monday, September 9th, 2019 until the funeral hour.
