Obituary for Wayne Couser Crabtree

Wayne Couser Crabtree, age 87, of Lewisburg, died Tuesday, July 7th, 2020 at Maury Regional Hospital.

He was a native of Lincoln County, the youngest son of the late Garland, Sr. and Robbie Lou Touchstone Crabtree. He enjoyed reminiscing about days gone by and had many stories of old times that he enjoyed sharing with family and friends. He dearly loved his family and worked hard to give them a good life. Each one held a special place in his heart.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sisters Macie McKinney, Elaine Dunivan, and three brothers, Crawford, Garland, Jr., and Bob Crabtree.

He is survived by his four sons, Terry (Janice) Crabtree of Trinidad, Phil (Sandra) Crabtree, Malcolm (Suzanne) Crabtree, Chris (Angie) Crabtree all of Lewisburg, four granddaughters, Terra, Meghan, Christina, and Robin; three grandsons, Phillip, Jonathan, and Marshall; twenty great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Graveside Service will be conducted on Friday, July 10th, 2020 at 2:00 pm from Talley Cemetery at Cane Creek with burial to follow in Talley Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin on Friday, July 10th, 2020 from 11:00 am until 1:30 pm.

The family mourns not for their dearly beloved Pa who has left all the trials and heartaches of this life behind and gone to meet his Savior, but for themselves who are left behind to carry on without him. He can not return to them but they know that one day they can go to him by living a life pleasing to the Lord. Pa attended church at Life and Hope Outreach in his later years as long as his health permitted. He was dearly loved and will truly be missed.

London Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with their arrangements.
