Obituary for William Levi Cochran

William Levi Cochran, age 82, of Lewisburg, died Wednesday, May 20th, 2020 at his residence.

He was a native of Marshall County, the son of the late Paul Cochran and Annie Davis Cochran. He was a Retired Engineer, owner of Cochran Bonding, and farmer. He was a member of the Cane Creek Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Doug Cochran and grandchild Dixie Lynn Blackwell.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mamie Willoughby Cochran, daughters, Pamper (Gary) Stanford, Lee Ann (James) Scott, son, Tim (Jan) Cochran, all of Lewisburg, a brother, David (Marie) Cochran of Mooresville, grandchildren, Tanaya Wilson, David Wilson, Matt Wilson, all of Shelbyville, Katherine Southerland, Meghin Scott, Sydney Scott,Cherry Cheek,Haley Smith and T.J. Cheek. Eighteen great grandchildren, five nieces and one nephew, also survive..

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 23rd, 2020 at 10:00 am from the Chapel of London Funeral Home 324 West Church Street Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091 with burial to follow in Head Springs Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin on Friday, May 22nd, 2020 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and will continue on Saturday, May 23rd, 2020 until the funeral hour.

The governor requests that visitors apply safety guidelines to the extent practicable.

London Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
