Obituary for William P. McMillian
William Phillip McMillian, age 81, of Lewisburg, died Thursday, August 6th, 2020 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Phillips was born on May 24, 1939 to the late James Wilburn and Lou Ella Porter in Lincoln County. He was an oiler/greaser with Inter-City Products during his working years. Phillip was in the US Army and attended the Petersburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death along with his parents by his brothers, Thomas, Raymond, Gene, Lee McMillian, and sisters, Francis Gibson and Ann Wright.
Survivors include his wife and mother of his children, Marie West McMillian, children, Tish (Timmy) Chilton, Ty and Travis McMillian, grandchildren, TJ (Amanda) Chilton, Todd Chilton, Tiffany (Max Burns) Chilton, step-grandchild, Steve Ballinger, and great-grandchildren, Ella, Marley, Lincoln, Lia, Grace Chilton, Regan and Baxsley Burns.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 8, 2020 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, TN. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow at New Hope Cemetery in the Talley Community. Pallbearers will be John Dunn, Kenny Dunn, TJ Chilton, Todd Chilton, Max Burns, and Matt West.
