William Walter "Buddy" Williams, age 76, of Lewisburg, died Tuesday, October 27th, 2020 at NHC Lewisburg.
He was a native of Marshall County, the son of the late Houston Alexander Williams and Mable Diane Jett Williams. In his life, Buddy was a carpenter and farmer. He loved the country life. He spent most of his life in the Mooresville Community where he enjoyed having a garden and being a tobacco farmer. One of the things he enjoyed was hay cutting season. He loved the outdoors. He enjoyed taking his family camping and teaching his sons the pleasure of fishing and hunting. When his sons were young, he enjoyed helping coach youth football. His favorite vacation place was Florida and he took his family many times on fun vacations to the beach.
The most important thing in Buddy's life was his love for family. He was so proud to be the Dad of three wonderful sons, but was equally as proud when grandchildren and then great-grandchildren came along. He was not affiliated with any particular church but loved the Lord and believed in the power of the Almighty. He loved a good laugh and knew lots of jokes which he never hesitated to tell. He will be missed by everyone that knew him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Peggy Williams.
