Wilma Dean Willis, age 83, of Cornersville, died Tuesday, March 24th, 2020 at NHC-Maury in Columbia, TN.
She was a native of Bedford County, the daughter of the late William Jackson and Tommie Josephine Lamb Jackson. She retired after thirty years service as an executive secretary with the Inter-City Products Corporation and was a member of the Cornersville First Baptist Church where she served as the pianist. Mrs. Willis was an avid TN Volunteer fan whether it was football or basketball.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-nine years, Emerson "Ike" Willis, brother, Thomas Ellis Jackson, and sister-in-law, Geneva Pressgrove Jackson.
She is survived by her son, Kerry (Anna) Willis of Lynnville, TN, two grandchildren, Lance (Hannah) Willis of Lynnville, TN, Chelsea Willis (Timmy) Shelton of Fort Benning, GA, one great-grandchild, Brylee Shelton, two special nieces, JoAnn Jackson (Buddy) Wortham of Unionville, TN, and Ramona Willis (Wesley) Perry of Dublin, GA.
Funeral Service will be conducted on Friday, March 27th, 2020 at 2:00 pm from Cornersville First Baptist Church with burial to follow in Pressgrove Cemetery, Unionville.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Due to the current situation with the coronavirus and social distancing the funeral service will be limited to family members only. Words of sympathy and encouragement may be sent to the family at www.londonfuneralhomes.com.
