James Harold Gilliam

Mr. James Harold Gilliam, age 68, of Cornersville, died Saturday, March 9, 2019 at his residence.

Mr. Gilliam was a native of Grundy County, the son of the late Robert and Clarsie Mae Meeks Gilliam.  He was an owner of Punkins Childcare and was  a member of the Cornersville First Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Dusty Gilliam, two sisters, Nervie Hill, and Lucille Clinger, and two brothers, Jimmy Gilliam, and Robert Gilliam.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Faye Luttrell Gilliam, four daughters, Angie Barrett of Manchester, Lisa Adams of Lewisburg, Lee Ann McConnell of Cornersville, Lindsey Harris of Pulaski, son, Jimmy Ray Gilliam of Manchester, four sisters, Stella Hill, Eunice Weir, Dellia (Eddie) Hereford, Minnie Gilliam, and four brothers, David (Mildred) Gilliam, Billy (Diane) Gilliam, and Ronny (Diane) Gilliam, a special brother in law, Gene Farrar, special friend, James Stokes,  and many nieces and nephews.  Thirteen grandchildren and four great granchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 11:00 am from the chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home with burial to follow in New Hope Cemetery at Ostella.

Visitation with the family will be conducted on Monday evening from 4:00 until 8:00 pm and will continue on Tuesday until the funeral hour.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Willowbrook Hospice.
