Obituary

Imogene Brashears, age 88, of Lewisburg, died Tuesday, June 16th, 2020 at NHC Oakwood.

She was a native of Giles County, the daughter of the late Keiffer Compton and the late Mary Sanders Compton. She was a retired employee of the Sanford Corporation and a member of the Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dorris Sherman Brashears, and five brothers, Alfred, Edward, Kieffer, Jr., William (Billy), and Bobby Compton.

She is survived by a daughter, Regenia Osborne, three sons, Ted Brashears, Billy Brashears, Douglas Brashears, all of Lewisburg, TN, six grandchildren, Andrea Cannon, Daniel Osborne, Shadrick Brashears, Matthew Brashears, Josh Brashears, Kaitlin Brashears and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside Service will be conducted on Thursday, June 18th, 2020 at 2:00 pm with burial in the Lone Oak Cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin on Thursday, June 18, 2020 from 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm in the Chapel of London Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 478 Craighead Street, Suite 200, Nashville, TN 37204.

London Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with their arrangements.
