Obituary

Vernell Wentzel Beever Marshall, age 88, of Lewisburg, TN died Friday, February 7, 2020 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, TN.

She was a native of Hickman County, the daughter of the late Wilford and Marie Ade Wentzel. She was a Retired School Teacher and a member of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Beever, Jr., second husband, Gordon Marshall, two brothers, Wilford and Kenneth Wentzel, three sisters, Evelyn Fuller, Mabel Banks, and Margaret Henderson.

She is survived by sisters, Marie Jones, of Cornersville, TN, and Grace Pinkerton, of Centerville, TN, brother, Arthur Wentzel, of Cornersville, TN, special niece, Terri Burgess, special nephew, Harold Ray Beever, Sr., along with several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091 with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin on Friday, February 14, 2020 from 9:30 am until 11:00 am and will continue until the funeral hour.

London Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

I was so fortunately having Vernell in my life. Only I wish we'd met sooner. She is now at peace and with her loved ones. Vernell will never be forgotten.
